Autism is now often referred to as part of the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) which includes Asperger syndrome and PDD (pervasive development disorder). All of the ASD disorders are characterized by varying degrees of impairment in communication skills, social interactions, and restricted, repetitive and stereotyped patterns of behavior.
Because of homeopathy’s nature as an energetic medicine and its ability to touch a person’s mental state, it has the ability to significantly alter an autistic person’s thoughts and behaviors.
Autism, unfortunately, is a very serious condition and is not an easy cure. While behaviors like ADD (ADHD) can be treated successfully with homeopathy, treating autism can prove more challenging.
However there are definitely many cases of autism cures with homeopathy. Usually behavior improvement is regularly seen, complete cure occasionally. If treatment begins early -- especially before age 5 -- there is room for great hope! Even later treatment can find success. But you must have commitment and view treatment as a long term process that will take months and years, not days or weeks. Note that by "cure," we mean cure without the ongoing need for a restricted diet and other therapies; complete recovery, not just improvement.
